Adult Mental Health First Aid

Adult Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary.


Youth Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid is a 6.5 hour course designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.


Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention Training

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer - the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. In this 1 hour training, participants will learn how to recognize suicide warning signs and how to respond of these signs are present, how to ask someone about the presence of suicidal thoughts and/or feelings and how to offer hope. In addition, participants will gain information about resources in the community and how to refer individuals to those resources.
